Christen Michael, born September 29th 1985, raised in The Bronx New York, started his career at an early age dancing in local talent shows. Wanting more out of life as a kid he went on to secure a part as the supporting actor in ABC's after school special "Getting Ahead", standing along side actor/director Tony Danza (Who's the Boss). He then appeared in Coca-Cola Christmas commercials directed by John Singleton in 1997. At the age of 13 his career in dance began, doing MTV's "The Grind", which lead to shows, Say What Karaoke, VH-1's 8 Days of the 80's, Global Grooves, BET's 106 & Park with other shows and commercials followed. 


Christen has worked with various well-known artists on tour and in videos.
Lil' Mo - Dem Boyz, Busta Rhymes - Get Out, Biggie Smalls - Get Money, Lil' Kim - Playas Anthum, Monica - Ain't Nobody, Queen Latifah - Black Hand Side, Charlie Baltimore - Feel it, Strings - Raise It Up, Swiss Beats, Culture Shock NY, Treach of Naughty By Nature and Bossman. Since 2002 until now, he has been head choreographer and dancer for Universal Records, R&B Recording Artist Lil' Mo. He is also was featured in the 2008 Walt Disney film “Step Up 2“ and also featured in 2009 on Fox 45 news for the Waynes Bro. Film Dance Flick.

Chris has been choerographer, artistic director, mentor and Judge for The Step It Up competition in NYC with Nike and DYCD from 2009 to 2018 bringing the inner city youth together through many social awareness campaigns.
His choreography as well as him dancing and singing background renound Gospel Artist "J. Moss" Thanksgiving 2016 on Bet, Centric and TVOne for the Allstate Insurance Gospel Superfest. Chris is more than a choreographer. He also is a professional actor, DJ, creative/video director, writer and singer as well. 


Christen was inspired by artists Carl Thomas, Trey Songs, Faith Evans, R. Kelly, Donell Jones, 112, Blackstreet, Usher, Chris Brown and Miguel. Those artist help build is own creative vocal style and has made his own niche and sound in the game. Christen is known for his humility and his comedic sense of humor on and off the stage, which helps him interact and relate to the many fans he's already gained around the world. In a short time he has opened for 112, Omarion, Marques Houston, Ray J, Shareefa, Lil' Mo, Beanie Seagal and Ryan Leslie


Building a strong fan base from social media and touring, he has had the chance to collaborate with several major music producers and up-coming artist from the US to the UK recording hit records that will set the pace for the industry today. Growing as a strong artist, building as a strong writer and production engineer, his goals are to be more than just the average singing artist/entertainer. Trained in the world of stage shows, modeling, acting, and choreography, he looks to take the world by storm in every aspect of the industry. Now residing in Maryland, he keeps his audience entertained with his talents as well as his unique good looks that come from his parents who are from Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. His soothing, raspy tone but strong distinctive voice as well as his energetic and creative dance moves keeps the crowd wanting more. Christen's music is real, edgy and straight to the point. His writings are not just words on a paper, they are the feelings in his soul. It comes from his own personal experience that will give answers to your every situation. Which is why he was named The Godson of RnB. His words will keep you on your seats and wanting to know more. Anyone listening and watching him can’t deny that he is truly a great vocalist and entertainer.
